Airtel, Aircel launch Apple iPhone 4S in India

India's leading telecom operators Bharti Airtel and Aircel have brought the much-awaited Apple iPhone 4S to the country to provide the customers the latest tech gadget of the 2011. 

While the Smart phone is available at Rs.44, 500 for the 16-GB model, the 32-GB and 64-GB versions of the smart phones are priced at Rs.50, 900 and Rs.57,500 respectively.

The Smart phone is powered by an A5 chip. It is two times faster in performance and seven times faster in graphics in comparison to others.

The Smart phone comes with 8 MP cameras allowing the users to record 1080p HD video. It runs on the new operating system iOS 5. It is preinstalled with Twitter. It comes with over 200 features including the voice-activated personal assistant feature Siri that allows users for voice messages and calls.

The companies are also offering various data plans along with the devices.

  1. Even though this phone sells for $99 / $199 in US, we have to sign a data contract which cost around $15 - $30 / month for 2 years. At the end of the day its the same.
    Apple is a rip off company either isn US or India.
