SRK detained for Two Hours at Airport in US

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan was detained by the US authorities for two hours at White Plains airport in New York. He was on the way to the Yale University for a function.

However, it is not clear why Shah Rukh was detained. Sources told PTI that he was stopped for over two hours by while others were cleared by the immigration officials soon after landing the flight at the airport.

The Yale University officials came to know about his detention after they contacted the Department of Homeland Security and the Immigration and Customs Department at Washington when the actor was delayed to reach the function.

The actor was upset and said he was detained at the airport "as always happens". Khan was earlier detained for two hours at Newark airport in 2009 and was released after India's embassy in the US intervened.
