Pakistani Actress Veena Malik goes Missing in Mumbai

Pakistani actress Veena Malik, who is in India for shooting for a Bollywood film, went missing in Mumbai since Friday morning. Her phone has been switched off, confirmed her manager Pratik Mehta.

The actress was shooting for a film "Mumbai 125 kilometres" at Film City in Goregaon of northwest Mumbai. Since Friday morning, she was not reachable.

Director Hemant Madhukar said that Veena has gone missing after the pack up on Friday morning. She had left an apology message for him in the afternoon saying she was not able to concentrate on her work as she was disturbed.

Madhukar had tried to talk to the actress, but her number was unreachable. Venna's manager Pratik Mehta confirmed the news about her missing. He said that he had been trying to reach her since Friday, but failed. A missing case has been registered at Bandra police station seeking police help to know the whereabouts of the actress.

Veena was recently dragged into another controversy for posing nude for a magazine. However, she charged the magazine editor and photographer demanding a huge amount for publishing the photo on the cover page.

The actress came in news in 2010 after she gave testimony against her beau Pakistani fast bowler Mohammed Asif alleging that he was involved in match fixing. Later, she dragged the attention participating in the fourth season of “Bigg Boss”.
