The Mumbai Crime Branch on Saturday filed chargesheet against 10 accused including Gangstar Chhota Rajan in connection with senior Mid Day journalist J Dey Murder case.
Journalist Jigna Vora, who was arrested on November 25 in the case, a supplementary chargesheet will be filed against her later. She is the 11th accused. She has been sent to police custody till December 5.
Police claimed that a man approached the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) court on Friday to hand over four cell phones and SIM cards allegedly used by Vora.
Vora is the first woman journalist, who was allegedly involved in the murder case. She is working as the Deputy Bureau Chief for English daily in Mumbai.
Dey was shot dead in a broad day light outside his residence at Powai in Mumbai on June 11, 2011.
