Built on Values Creating an Enviable Culture that Outperforms the Competition

As Ann Rhoades and Nancy Shepherdson explain in Built on Values, the “perfect company culture” does not exist. The right culture for any company can be defined by determining what values are important to the organization’s success and committing to them. The authors recommend that the company develop a plan for how its employees should behave based on those values and put it into practice throughout the organization.

The most critical element to fostering the new company culture is helping employees adopt those behaviors and live those values every day. Great cultures cannot be replicated or copied; a company must launch its own.
